Ernie Benbow (Programme Manager of State of Mind) and Greg Burgess (North Lanarkshire’s Choose Life Co-ordinator) were invited by Madeline Moon MP for Bridgend, to make presentations to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Suicide and Self Harm Prevention at the House of Commons on Tuesday 13 March 2012.

Want a piece of State of Mind?! Following successful media coverage significant interest has been received from the Rugby League community for State of Mind merchandise.

Mental Health Awareness in Rugby League – An introductory course for coaches Free professional development! The course has been specifically designed for people working in rugby league, and coaches in particular. It is two hours long and free to attend. Attendees don’t need any previous knowledge of mental health.

State of Mind Halton will be promoting mental health in rugby communities while celebrating World Mental Health Day 2011 by hosting a series of events during September and October this year. So come along and take part!
